498. That's the number. My highest weight ever, give or take a few pounds. It's hard to get an accurate weight when your fat little legs are struggling to stay still on an itty bitty platform scale. It would be plenty of room for a regular size fat girl, but an almost 500 lb fat girl??? Not so much. But, I digress.
After an utterly humiliating 3 month, near death stay in the hospital, I have come to the realization that I have to lose weight. I find it sadly embarassing that it took the humiliation of being almost 500 lbs in the hospital (that's a whoooole other post) in order for me to realize that I have to lose weight, either that, or die. But there you go.
So, today, I begin this weight loss journey, and I'm hoping I'll find myself along the way.
